First Friday Scallywag Race
Our summer reoccurring First Friday Scallywag Race is this afternoon. If you are looking for something fun to do today, saunter down to Shipyard Cove about 3 PM to view skippers setting out to the starting line for an afternoon race to Reid Rock and back.
You could find yourself aboard a sleek racing boat handling a spinnaker, jib, or main sheet! Or you may just be helping the boat stay upright!
After the race we will join the kind folks at Jensens Marine (actually Essential Sailing Industries, Jason and Emily) for a BBQ snack and heated discussion about all the details of the race.
Remember, the basic rules include, 'there are no rules', (it is a Scallywag race you know).
You are invited to come and be a part of this decade's long Friday Harbor tradition.
